I still haven't gotten over the fact that Marshall, with a college, doesn't have a Kinko's--or even a reasonable facsimile thereof. A town this size, with a university, and no place that I can go in and do binding, photocopying, on-the-spot résumé printing, enlargements, laminations, et.c Heck, in college, many of the texts for classes were compilations of many writings (each with copyright, of course) that the prof put together and we bought them at Kinko's. Cheaper than several textbooks in which we only used parts. Example: Mock Trial enlargements. In any *sane* town (ha ha) I'd just pop in to Kinko's and be out in ten minutes or less. Here? I have to plan ahead and make special trips--two years ago I was going to be at the Mayo clinic, so I brought the stuff along so I could do it at (guess what?) Kinko's in Rochester. In essence, I kind of use "Kinko's" as a barometer of civilization. :) (A few years ago FedEx bought Kinko's, and I see that now the name has gone from "Kinko's" to "FedEx-Kinko's" to "FedEx Office."
